Wekiva Kids Therapy's holistic approach provides families with abundant resources that meet their child's specific needs. We often hear from our families about how stressful it is to find the right resources and guidance when choosing the right services. This is especially true for our families with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. A local organization called Abilities Workshop aims to provide families with accurate information about resources, services, and support groups for families with children diagnosed with Autism.
Abilities Workshop offers paid programs that educate families on available services, financial support, development, and navigating the transition to adulthood. These online workshops provide valuable information to families with children diagnosed with Autism throughout the child's development.
Abilities Workshop provides free resources to meet our local families' ever-changing needs. These resources include a podcast, Autism-specific search engines, and a free directory of specialized services called Bright Feats.
They also provide a parent support group called Coffee with Carmen to share their stories and lend advice as they navigate daily life with a special needs child.
For more information about these services, visit the Abilities Workshop homepage.
